As has already been shown Gods laws are still in existence and
we are to obey them. MAT 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and
earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from
the law, till all be fulfilled.. MAT 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of
these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be
called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall
do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the
kingdom of heaven. JHN 14:15 If ye love me, keep my
commandments. Yhwh's food laws can be found in Leviticus
chapter 11. One of the food laws that has been question is
that of eating pork. ISA 65:4 Which remain among the
graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh,
and broth of abominable [things is in] their vessels;
Preachers of the false church like to point to Acts chapter 10
to say see... God made all food clean. Let's look at that.
ACT 10:9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey,
and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop
to pray about the sixth hour: ACT 10:10 And he became
very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready,
he fell into a trance, ACT 10:11 And saw heaven
opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had
been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to
the earth: ACT 10:12 Wherein were all manner of
fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping
things, and fowls of the air. ACT 10:13 And there
came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. ACT
10:14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten
any thing that is common or unclean. Lets
point something out here. There were all kinds of animals..
some clean (like cow) some unclean (like pig) and peter would
eat neither the unclean (pig) or common (cow, called common
because it was with the pig). ACT 10:15 And the voice
[spake] unto him again the second time, What God hath
cleansed, [that] call not thou common. ACT 10:16
This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again
into heaven. That's right God made the cow clean even though
it was on the same sheet with the pig.. but where does God say
He made the pig clean? The vision had to do with Cornelius who
was one of the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Those of the
house of Judah would have nothing to do with them because they
were mixed with the "unclean gentiles" and by that became
"common". God was telling Peter to go see Cornelius because He
had bought back the house of Israel. EZE 37:19 Say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the
stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and
the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him,
[even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one
stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. |
